No Bake Tiramisu Recipe | Homemade Recipes
Ingredients
6 egg yolks
3/4 c. white sugar
2/3 c. milk
1 1/4 c. heavy cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 lb. mascarpone cheese
1 c. strong brewed coffee or espresso, room temperature
1/4 c. amaretto, brandy, or rum
6 oz. ladyfinger cookies
1 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder

Step 1: Make Custard
Whisk together the egg yolks and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Do this until well mixed. Once it’s combined, add the milk and stir constantly until the mixture starts to boil. Let it boil for a minute, while stirring.
Remove it from heat and let it cool. Move the custard into a bowl, cover it with wrap and let it chill for an hour.
Step 2: Cream
Use an electric mixer to beat the cream and vanilla together until it begins to stiffen. Also, grab the custard out from the fridge and whisk the mascarpone into it until smooth.
Step 3: Soak Ladyfingers
Combine the coffee and rum in a measuring cup. Spread your ladyfingers in a bowl or on a sheet and pour the coffee/rum mixture over them.
Step 4: Layer The Tiramisu
Grab half of the soaked ladyfingers and arrange them at the bottom of a 7×11 (2 qt.) dish. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers then half of the whipped cream over that. Add the other half of the soaked ladyfingers above that, then the mascarpone and whipped cream again.
Sprinkle the top with cocoa and cover and refrigerate for 24 hours so that the flavors blend all together.
